Having just played yesterday, the Lutheran Mustangs will jump right back in to play the San Marcos HomeSchool Panthers at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Lutheran is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
On Thursday, things could have been worse for Lutheran, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 67-48 loss to Crystal City.
Meanwhile, San Marcos HomeSchool's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 73-41 loss at the hands of Crystal City.
Lutheran has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for San Marcos HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
Lutheran took a serious blow against San Marcos HomeSchool when the teams last played back in November of 2015, falling 78-51. Can Lutheran avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
