The King & Queen Central Royal Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the King William Cavaliers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with King & Queen Central sitting on three straight victories and King William on ten.
Last Friday, King & Queen Central strolled past West Point with points to spare, taking the game 41-27.
King & Queen Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Janiya Brown out in front who scored 14 points. Amelia Moaney was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
While King William's win against Carver College and Career Academy wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came away the winners. King William sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over Carver College and Career Academy on Tuesday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points King William has scored all season.
King & Queen Central's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-8. As for King William, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
King & Queen Central took a serious blow against King William in their previous meeting back in January, falling 65-35. Can King & Queen Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
