The Ashe County Huskies had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Hibriten by a score of 58-47 on Tuesday. The win was just what Ashe County needed coming off of a 60-39 defeat in their prior contest.
Ashe County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ian Graybeal out in front who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Graybeal is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Bryce Peters was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Ashe County's win bumped their record up to 7-13. As for Hibriten, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-18.
Ashe County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 70-55 defeat vs. Freedom on the 9th. Hibriten has also already played their next matchup, a 72-55 defeat against McDowell on the 7th.
