Gig Harbor came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Silas, but Sonja Strom wouldn't allow it. The Rams sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Tides on Tuesday thanks in part to Strom, who had 16 digs and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Silas' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Gig Harbor, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Silas has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Bellarmine Prep on the 18th. As for Gig Harbor, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Mount Tahoma on the 18th.
