Wakulla (Crawfordville, Fla.) extended its winning streak to five games with a 28-12 victory over
Jefferson County (Monticello, Fla.) on Saturday.After taking the lead on a
Monterious Loggins touchdown run in the first quarter, the War Eagles led 28-0 at the half.
Demetrius Lindsey played well for Wakulla in the victory. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 34-14 win for WHS.
Wakulla (5-0) goes up against Rickards in a 5A District 2 game matchup next week, while Jefferson County (0-5) locks horns with Branford in a 1A District 5 game.
