Despite the defeat, Jeff Davis saw an underclassman step up: J.j Benjamin scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marigus Sampson, who scored six points.
Jeff Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Cook, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
