Crownpoint was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 237 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're rushing yard total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tohatchi). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Gallup 54-12 on the road. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their six-point performance the game before.
Crownpoint's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Tohatchi, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
