Fremont is 8-2 against Davis since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Silverwolves will face off against the Darts at 3:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Fremont sitting on five straight wins and Davis on four.
Last Friday, Fremont made easy work of Farmington and carried off a 12-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Silverwolves, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Fremont let Cole Sanders and Kasen Pearson run wild. Sanders scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Pearson went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one double. The dominant performance also gave Sanders a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Adam Mikesell, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Fremont always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .568. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Davis never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past Syracuse 6-0. The Darts are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the fifth matchup they've won by 6+ runs this season.
Syracuse's batters probably weren't too happy with Sam Sevy, who pitched a no hitter and racked up ten Ks (he gave up a single walk). Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for Sevy.
On the hitting side, Tyson Baggett was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season. Brody Mcguire was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.
Davis' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Fremont, their record is now 10-3.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Fremont has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Davis struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Fremont couldn't quite get it done against Davis in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 8-5. Can the Silverwolves avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
