San Pasqual Valley will be up against a hot Ash Fork team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Spartans blew past Grand Canyon 69-14 on Tuesday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-9.

Ash Fork's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Isabella Acosta, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 15 steals, and Andrea Vazquez, who posted 19 points and seven steals. Acosta is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last 15 games she's played dating back to last season. Gracie Staples was another key player, going 6-for-11 on her way to 14 points and eight boards.
Ash Fork smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in six consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely San Pasqual Valley's strategy against Antelope on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Warriors blew the Rams out of the water with a 71-20 final score. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
San Pasqual Valley's win came from a few key players Ash Fork will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Aaliyah Rea, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Taleah Valenzuela, who had 14 points and seven steals.
San Pasqual Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Ash Fork, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.
