McNeil entered their tilt with Vandegrift on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Vandegrift Vipers 21-15. For the Mavericks, this counts as revenge for the 18-8 win the Vipers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

McNeil got a massive performance out of Isabel Bane, who went 5-for-6 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Bethany Adams, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

McNeil hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most three strikeouts in three consecutive matches.

McNeil now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Vandegrift, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Coming up, McNeil will host Vista Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McNeil is facing Vista Ridge at the right time seeing as Vista Ridge is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Vandegrift, they will venture away from home to face off against Round Rock Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
