Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Annabelle Malsam, who scored eight points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Reece Smith, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Trego struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Trego has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season. As for Phillipsburg, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.

Thomas More Prep-Marian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Phillipsburg surely won't give up without a fight.
