Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Brandon Academy). They breezed by the Hifz Academy Pegasuses to the tune of 82-11 on Thursday. The Scorpions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brandon Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaron Miller-Holmes, who went 14 for 25 on his way to 33 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Miller-Holmes has scored at least a third of Brandon Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rashad Carriera, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards.

Brandon Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in five consecutive matches.

Brandon Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Hifz Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Brandon Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Cristo Rey Tampa on the 10th. As for Hifz Academy, they will head out to take on Universal Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
