Loch Raven's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Meona Boykin, who scored 17 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Maya Gordon, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten steals.
Despite the defeat, Kenwood saw an underclassman step up: Diamond Watters dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. Watters has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more points the last five times she's played.
Loch Raven pushed their record up to 11-4 with that win, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28 points. As for Kenwood, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
