Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Bandon/Pacific Tigers, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 28-7 walloping at the hands of Heppner on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 67 points in the game before, Bandon/Pacific couldn't push the score so high this time.
Leading Heppner to victory were Hayden McMahon and Caden George. McMahon rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns, while George gained 179 total yards and two touchdowns.
Bandon/Pacific's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Heppner, their win was their third straight at home , which pushed their record up to 8-2.
Bandon/Pacific does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Heppner will head out on the road to face off against Regis at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Regis is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
