Despite the loss, South Adams still got an impressive performance from Macy Pries, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. That was a full 49% of South Adams' points, marking the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Liz Gerber, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
South Adams has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Woodlan, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Adams will play host again and welcome Mississinewa, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodlan, they will be playing at home against Prairie Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
