There's no place like home for the Westmoore Jaguars, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They managed a 47-43 win over Edmond Santa Fe on Friday. For Westmoore, this counts as revenge for the 47-41 loss the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Gavin Loper was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Ivan Antwi donkor was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds.
Westmoore has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Edmond Santa Fe, they dropped their record down to 10-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Westmoore won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the SaberCats at 7:30 p.m. on January 27th. Southmoore will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Jaguars are ranked 35th). As for Edmond Santa Fe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Norman is coming into the game hot, having won their last eight games.
