The Rosman Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Summit Charter 80-44 at home. With that victory, Rosman brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.
Marley McCall was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Rosman's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaesyn Mccoy, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Rosman's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Summit Charter, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Rosman will head out on the road to face off against Blue Ridge Early College at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Blue Ridge Early College is ranked 658th, while Rosman is ranked 647th). Summit Charter will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Invest Collegiate Imagine at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
