Mission Valley saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They breezed by the Flint Hills Christian Warriors to the tune of 70-9. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.
Mission Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kailynn Jacobson out in front who went 6 of 15 on her way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Brammell, who posted nine points in addition to seven steals and five assists.
Mission Valley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Flint Hills Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Mission Valley will take on Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Flint Hills Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sunrise Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 21, 2025.
