St. Peter gave up the first points on Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against the Cardinal Hayes Cardinals by a score of 29-18. The win was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

St. Peter's didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Nicholas Gnerre and Vincenzo Coppola.

St. Peter's now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Cardinal Hayes, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Looking ahead, St. Peter's will head out on the road to challenge Holy Trinity at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Titans' defense has only allowed 12.7 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Cardinal Hayes, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chaminade at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
