Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lancaster). They took their matchup on Thursday with ease, bagging a 53-25 victory over the Northampton Yellowjackets. The Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 28 points or more this season.

Northampton's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miracle Brandon, who posted seven points. Another player making a difference was Chasidy Lofton, who put up six points.

The win was the third in a row for Lancaster, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 15.7 points per game. As for Northampton, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Lancaster and Northampton's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Lancaster and Northumberland (who has only given up 28.6 points per game) will meet at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Lancaster's defense has only allowed 29.2 points per game this season, so Northampton's offense will have their work cut out for them. Meanwhile, Northampton and Norfolk Academy (who has only given up 30 points per game) will meet at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
