Lordstown was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight  defeat. They lost  17-5 to the Pymatuning Valley Lakers. Ty Vickery was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Lordstown's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Pymatuning Valley, their win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 8-5-1.
