Oak Creek is 10-0 against Indian Trail since February of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Oak Creek Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Indian Trail Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Oak Creek is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Indian Trail in Wisconsin (Oak Creek is ranked 63rd, while Indian Trail is ranked 202nd).
After a string of four wins, Oak Creek's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 50-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kettle Moraine. Oak Creek has not had much luck with Kettle Moraine recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Ava Hanson, who scored 13 points. Emma Schmidt was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, Indian Trail was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 47-42 to Kenosha Tremper. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Indian Trail has scored all season.
Oak Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Indian Trail, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.
Everything went Oak Creek's way against Indian Trail when the teams last played back in February as Oak Creek made off with a 59-33 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Oak Creek since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
