Princeton has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Beddingfield Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Princeton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Princeton earned a 53-46 victory over Spring Creek. The victory was just what Princeton needed coming off of a 77-38 loss in their prior game.
Princeton's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Zion Joyner, who scored ten points along with seven assists and two steals, and Garrett Lane, who scored 15 points. Joyner has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Landon Murphy was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Beddingfield scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Eastern Wayne by a score of 82-75. The win was some much needed relief for Beddingfield as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Princeton's record is now 5-9. Beddingfield's record now sits at 11-5.
Princeton took their victory against Beddingfield in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 by a conclusive 60-39. With Princeton ahead 39-18 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
