When it comes to explaining why Caledonia-Mumford lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nathan Doll. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Braeden Fonte, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Perry's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Caledonia-Mumford, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Perry will head out on the road to square off against the Golden Gophers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in New York (Pavilion is ranked 634th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 659th). As for Caledonia-Mumford, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Indians at 7:00 p.m. Keshequa is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
