The Foster Bulldogs suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Sammamish, falling 80-45. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Foster in their matchups with Sammamish: they've now lost seven in a row.
Sammamish's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anthony Boddie, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rakin Showki, who scored 15 points.
Foster bumped their record down to 3-13 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sammamish, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-4.
Foster's road trip will continue as they head out to face Evergreen at 8:00 p.m. on January 19th. As for Sammamish, they will be playing at home against Highline at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Highline will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 271st, while Sammamish is ranked 99th).
