The Graham Red Devils will be home for the holidays to greet the Eno River Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 55-18, which was the final score in Graham's tilt against Southern Alamance on Tuesday. Graham was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-4.
Meanwhile, Eno River was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap two weeks ago as they fell 40-36 to Triangle Math & Science.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Madison Hobbs, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. She scored a full 38.9% of Eno River's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Sadie Olson, who scored 11 points.
Graham's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Eno River, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
