Football Recap: Redlands Has No Trouble Against San Gorgonio

Redlands barely beat San Gorgonio the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Terriers were the clear victors by a 35-14 margin over the Spartans on Friday. The Terriers not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since September 19, 2024 (when they won 35-10).

Redlands had a senior duo take command as Christian Sturm rushed for 174 yards and two TDs while picking up 9.7 yards per carry and Anthony Fraire threw for 272 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 12.4 yards per attempt. A healthy portion of that aerial production (86 yards to be exact) went to JT Leverette.

The win got Redlands back to even at 2-2. As for San Gorgonio, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Redlands has already played their next matchup, a 50-35 loss against Palm Desert on the 19th. As for San Gorgonio, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 27-16 defeat against Indio on the 19th.
