In what's become a running theme this season, the Tabiona Tigers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 77-29 win over Altamont. The win was nothing new for Tabiona as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Tabiona was led to victory by Logan Rhoades and Gavin Rhoades. Rhoades scored 17 points along with five assists and five rebounds, while Rhoades dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rhoades has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lex Giles, who scored 11 points along with six assists.
Tabiona's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Altamont, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Tabiona's road trip will continue as they head out to face Tintic at 5:00 p.m. on January 19th. As for Altamont, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Rich at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Rich focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six last Friday.
