The Triangle Math & Science Tigers lost to the Eno River Bobcats back in December of 2019, but the Triangle Math & Science Tigers didn't allow the Eno River Bobcats the same satisfaction on Friday. Triangle Math & Science secured a 40-36 W over Eno River. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Triangle Math & Science.
Samrita Sriram continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with 5 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Triangle Math & Science's points. Another player making a difference was Leanna Nohs, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals.
Eno River's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madison Hobbs, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. The match was Hobbs' third in a row with at least ten points. Sadie Olson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Triangle Math & Science pushed their record up to 5-4 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 53 points. As for Eno River, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
Triangle Math & Science will play host again and welcome Southern Wake Academy, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southern Wake Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Eno River will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Graham at 5:00 p.m. on December 21st.
