First Baptist was the victim of a rough 53-31 defeat at the hands of Hammond Baptist. First Baptist has struggled against Hammond Baptist recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Loss or not, First Baptist got some senior leadership from Josh Anderson who scored 4 points along with 11 rebounds and 3 steals and Levi Borner who scored 7 points. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played.
First Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Hammond Baptist, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
First Baptist will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Varsity Opponent at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Hammond Baptist, they will take on Woodland Baptist Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Woodland Baptist Christian will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.
