On Wednesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Bucktail beat Weatherly 58-53.
Several Weatherly players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Niko Saldukas, who scored 14 points along with six steals. Saldukas also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Ian Mckeegan, who scored nine points along with eight assists and four steals.
Even though they lost, Weatherly were working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
The victory got Bucktail back to even at 3-3. As for Weatherly, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
