Excelsior Classical Academy dropped their record down to 1-12 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 4.0 points per game. As for Oxford Prep, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Excelsior Classical Academy on the road again on Friday and play against Henderson Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. Henderson Collegiate comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for Oxford Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Vance Charter at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. Vance Charter is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.7 points per game.
