Adamsville extended their winning streak to four on Monday, bumping their season record up to 17-10 in the process. Everything went their way against the Riverside Panthers as they made off with an 11-2 victory. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 4-3 victory last Wednesday.

As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 18-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since March 31st.

For Riverside's part, Landon Vaughan was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs and one double. Vaughan is becoming a predictor of the Panthers' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 12-1 (and 6-13 when he doesn't). Anderson Thompson was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Coming up, Adamsville will challenge Milan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Riverside, they will face off against Westview at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
