Western Harnett was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight  defeat. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Johnston Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  3-1  back in September.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 22-25,  25-21.
Western Harnett's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for South Johnston, their win  ended  a  three-match drought at home  and  bumped them up to 8-10.
