Winning may never get old, but Unity Christian Academy sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Unity Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Donovan O'Neil, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 assists. O'Neil has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Shamar Coleman, who scored 25 points along with two steals.
Despite the defeat, Mooseheart saw an underclassman step up: John McGowin scored 18 points. Tolu Erinolu was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Unity Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Mooseheart, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Unity Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Monday against Grace Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. Grace Christian Academy has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 14. As for Mooseheart, they will head out on the road to take on Westminster Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Westminster Christian is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
