Shadow Creek breezed by Strake Jesuit on the road to the tune of 38-7. With Shadow Creek ahead 24-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Shadow Creek's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chris Stewart, who picked up 152 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Stewart's longest reception was for an incredible 88 yards. Rahim Hutchins also helped out with an impressive 83 receiving yards.
Shadow Creek's victory was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 9-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28.5 points. As for Strake Jesuit, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Shadow Creek will face off against Clear Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clear Springs is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Strake Jesuit, they will face off against Clear Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clear Falls presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Strake Jesuit in Texas (Clear Falls is ranked 120th, while Strake Jesuit is ranked 426th).
