The North Rock Creek Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Heritage Hall Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Rock Creek comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Last Friday, North Rock Creek was beaten by Metro Christian 40-7. While losing is never fun, North Rock Creek can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma football rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Metro Christian is ranked 44th).
Despite the defeat, North Rock Creek got a solid performance out of Caleb Hawkins, who rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown. Hawkins was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards.
Meanwhile, Heritage Hall put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over Marlow. 35 seems to be a good number for Heritage Hall as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
North Rock Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Heritage Hall, they have yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record.
