The Ramapo Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Hackensack Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Ramapo's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches.
On Tuesday, Ramapo strolled past Ridgewood with points to spare, taking the game 59-41.
Wyatt Eglinton manner continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Chris Cervino was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Hackensack made easy work of Paramus on Tuesday and carried off a 60-38 win.
Ramapo pushed their record up to 16-7 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Hackensack, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-12.
Everything came up roses for Ramapo against Hackensack in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 71-43 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ramapo since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
