Austin had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagle Mountain Knights.

While Austin won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Maggie McCarroll and Riley Malloy, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Nora Bettis and her 14 assists. Catalina Rebolloso controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Austin's win bumped their record up to 21-1. As for Eagle Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.

Austin has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Dawson on the 29th. As for Eagle Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Cathedral Catholic on the 29th.
