Roosevelt came into Wednesday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over the Minneapolis South Tigers on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Teddies have posted since April 10th.

Roosevelt saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liam McMahon, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Minneapolis South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Roosevelt will venture away from home to take on Washburn at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minneapolis South, they will head out to face off against Breck at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
