The Bothell Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 25 points or more this season. They breezed by Issaquah at home to the tune of 75-38. The win was nothing new for Bothell as they're now sitting on six straight.
Ashlyn Peterson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 32 points along with three steals. Those 32 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlotte Lipkin, who scored 16 points along with six steals.
Bothell pushed their record up to 10-2 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Issaquah, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bothell won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Redmond at 6:00 p.m. on January 6th. Hopefully Redmond focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. Issaquah won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Skyline at 5:30 p.m. on January 6th.
