Oklahoma Union had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Minco Bulldogs with a sharp 20-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won 11 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Oklahoma Union's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-10. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Minco, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-20.

Coincidentally, Oklahoma Union and Minco will both be playing Hooker the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Bulldogs on Thursday, while the Cougars will host them on Friday.
