River View is 4-0 against Dayton since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The River View Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dayton Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
After soaring to 56 points the game before, River View were a bit more limited in their game last Saturday. They were dealt a 74-25 loss at the hands of Columbia. River View has not had much luck with Columbia recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Dayton suffered their biggest defeat since December 9, 2023 on Saturday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 67-21 to St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Dayton was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-15.
River View's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-10. As for Dayton, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season.
Everything came up roses for River View against Dayton in their previous meeting back in December of 2017 as the team secured a 70-26 win. With River View ahead 39-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
