The Dayton Bulldogs will face off against the Rahway Indians at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Dayton's favor as the  squad sits on four straight wins at home while Rahway has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road.
Dayton is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 25  runs  on Monday, they were much more limited against South Plainfield  on Tuesday. They took  a  6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.
  Nate Goldman was cooking despite his team's loss,   getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  he has  hit this season.
Meanwhile, Rahway scored first but ultimately less than South Amboy in their  match on Saturday. They lost  11-1 to the Governors.
 Rahway saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Alex Pineda, who  got on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double. Pineda is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last four games he's  played.
 Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Rahway, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-16.
