On Thursday, Glynn Academy ended the year with a bang, routing Bainbridge 59-34. With that victory, Glynn Academy brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.
Glynn Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Martin Davis led the charge by scoring 12 points. The game was Davis' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Aniyah Wright, who scored ten points.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Early County's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell to Thomas County Central 49-44.
Glynn Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for Early County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.
