Baseball Recap: Collins Takes a Loss

Collins suffered their closest loss since April 10, 2025 on Saturday. They fell just short of the Conner Cougars by a score of 5-3.

Collins saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Poole, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Collins' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Conner, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Collins will host Franklin County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Conner, they will venture away from home to challenge Grant County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
