Squalicum let Oak Harbor stack five runs on them in the second inning on Thursday but luckily Squalicum prevailed anyway. The Storm won by a run and slipped past the Wildcats 8-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Storm.
Keisha McCloud made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 4.2 innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. McCloud was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
In other batting news, Addy Hauber was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.
