On TuesdayMount Dora Christian Academy kept up with International Community until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The International Community Comets never let the Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs onto the board and left with a 5-0 victory. Considering the Comets have won six matchups by more than four goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Mount Dora Christian Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hunter Mills (2), Collin Kelsey (2), and Shep Riddle.

International Community is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those seven contests. As for Mount Dora Christian Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4-1.

After both having extra time off, International Community and Central Florida Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Mount Dora Christian Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tavares at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
