Cordell has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Mountain View-Gotebo Tigers at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Cordell came up short against Geary and fell 60-53.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 75-14, which was the final score in Mountain View-Gotebo's tilt against Carnegie on Tuesday. Cordell bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Mountain View-Gotebo, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-2.
