The Ontario Jaguars will be playing at home against the Baldwin Park Braves at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ontario will be strutting in after a win while Baldwin Park will be coming in after a defeat.
Even though Ontario has not done well against Don Lugo recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Ontario sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 55-53 victory over Don Lugo. The victory was just what Ontario needed coming off of a 54-31 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Baldwin Park's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 73-17 loss at the hands of Chino. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Baldwin Park has scored all season.
Ontario's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Baldwin Park, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-14.
Everything came up roses for Ontario against Baldwin Park in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 69-28 victory. Does Ontario have another victory up their sleeve, or will Baldwin Park turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
